[final essay] Our Intellectuality

Problems and problems, there are so many problems in our country. Unemployment, poverty, education problem, corruption, natural disaster, affair politics and so on have been our daily meals. Our law and system continuously have brought many challenges we can not solve. It is not reasonable to blame our government and demand the president to retire. The root of the problem is not on the president but on us and our law and system. We have used the law and system which is the product of our intellectuality.

Poor Indonesia, poor Indonesian. We have been the victim of global capitalism. For example, we need to import sugar and rice from the foreign country; at the same time, a lot of multinational companies are monopolising our abundant natural resources and our intelligence people to work with them. We have also been the victim of multidimensional crisis, it has been proved by bad news such as “More Trouble for Former Bulog Head”, “Affair Politics in Indonesia”, “Neighbors Try to Evict Maid Better Family”, or “Ailing IPDN”, which is still dominant in newspaper, television and other news media.

The Idea for My Final Essay

*Biodiesel, solution or new problem?! ~eh kamu tau gak pohon penghasil biodiesel itu increasing amount of nitrogen (gas rumah kaca) di udara? didn't you know, untuk menanam pohon penghasil biodiesel itu, kita harus hancurkan hutan O_O

*(lagi-lagi)Our Intellectuality ~saking believenya in our intellectuality, we constructed our own law; such as pancasila, uud, democracy, dll. pancasila sakti - selama 60 taun have been proved gak bisa meningkatkan taraf hidup masyarakat! uud - direvisi many times juga teteup bikin ancur. We must explore the other system!

*Will You Marry Me?!? ~varied ways to find a mate; yang beredar di our circumstances; beserta alasan mereka yang memilih cara ituh

*Getting Higher UAN's Standard ~solving problem not on its root

*Rich by MLM ~how a makelar of multi level marketing change your mindset and mencetak you to be his/her downline

*Find the Magic of Focus ~Why should we focus on just one life-problem dalam satu waktu. pake tafsir al quran bo; a big different mean of tanwin and alif-lam in a word.

*The Secret of Gravity's Law ~berlakunya Gravity's Law between apa yang kita pikirkan dg alam semesta

btw ide2 itu tuh sebenernya old ideas for my new indonesian blog at wordpress. But i haven't had much time to expand these ideas sampe jadi sebuah tulisan x_x" ~~sok sibuk, bilang aja males!

Menurut anda, ide manakah yang kira2 pantas buat final essay saya?

Ultimate Mathematics!!

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Simple Facts!
1. The first verse (1:1),known as "Basmalah," consists of 19 letters.
2. The Quran consists of 114 suras, which is 19 x 6.
3. 6234 numbered verses & 112 un-numbered verses (Basmalahs) 6234+112 = 6346. 6+3+4+6 =.......19.
4. The Basmalah occurs 114 times, despite its conspicuous absence from Sura 9 (it occurs twice in Sura 27) & 114= 19x6.
5. From the missing Basmalah of Sura 9 to the extra Basmalah of Sura 27, there are precisely 19 suras.
etc.

waw^o^

Theorem:
Assume you have a pair of two-digit numbers, ab and cd such that a, b, c and d are nonzero. If ab + cd = 100, then a + b + c + d = 19
Proof:
We can Write two-digit numbers in polynomial form 10a + b and 10c + d. If 10a + b + 10c + d = 100, then we must have b + d = 10. This implies that 10(a + c) = 90, so a + c = 9. Therefore, a + b + c + d = 19 (qed)

It is noteworthy that there are 72 such two-digit pairs and 72 is the 8th Twin Prime’s Companion (TPC) and 8 is the index of 19. Chapter 72 has 28 verses and 72:28 is one of the numbers conforming to the above theorem, meaning that 72 + 28 = 100 and 7 + 2 + 2 + 8 =19. Please read 72:28!!

In light of the above theorem, it is essential to analyze chapter 100 in the Quran. We note that it has 11 verses. If we concatenate 100 and 11 we get 10011 which is composed of 0’s and 1’s only. Therefore, we can think of it as a binary number. Well, you guessed it, 10011 in binary number system is 19, God be praised. Note here the intricate mathematics, 11 is the 19th number in the Quran, and we just saw the relation between 100 and 19. There is only one other chapter in the Quran such that when you concatenate the sura number and the number of verses you get a number which is composed of 1’s and 0’s and it is chapter 101 which also has 11 verses. The number 10111 in binary number system is 23. We know that the 23rd number in the Quran is 30 and the 30the number in the Quran is 100 and 30 is the 19th composite.

The fact that sura 2, the first initialed sura in the Quran has 9899 A’s + L’s + M’s or 19×521, is truly a numbering system beyond the capability of humans and jinns combined. What we are about to see is that the coefficient of 19 which is 521 actually predicts the last initialed sura which is 68. By God’s grace and the discovery of TPC’s, we note that the 521st TPC is 33768. This is truly an amazing number, because it is the concatenation of the prime number 337 and 68 where 68 is the index of prime number 337. Glory be to God.

TPC = Twin Prime’s Companion = pasangan bilangan prima
composite = bilangan selain prima

Title:
Proportion of Bad News and Good News

Introduction- Thesis Statement:
Unconscious, news and media have much affected our behavior, our personality, our paradigm, and our mind in direction to badness or goodness. It is the problem that most of the news paper and television are still dominated by bad news with many news editors’ commercial reasons; without thought what the effect on people or whether people like it emotionally.

Topic sentence paragraph #1:
News editors often assume that bad news is more shocking people and more commercialize than good news.

Topic sentence paragraph #2:
It is true that people need actual bad news for avoiding badness and doing good thing, but too many bad news can affect people’s behavior.

Topic sentence paragraph #3:
However, emotionally, most people like good news better than bad news.

Topic sentences paragraph of conclusion:
People need both of good news and bad news, so television and news paper should report good news and bad news with same proportions.

Do You Know How It is Made?

When we buy something, usually we look at its appearance, its quality and its cost (the result) without looking at the production of it (the process). Have you ever thought that we usually buy and use many tools but we do not care how it is made? For example, the glass. Dou you know how the glass is made?

Generally, this is three steps of producing the glass:

First, gathering the materials for making glass. The materials are sand, limestone, flint, spar, or some other silicious substances, with one or other of the fixed alkalies, and in some cases with a metallic oxide. The silicious substances are lead, borax, arsenic, nitre, or any alkaline matter such as soda, pearlash, sea-salt, and wood-ashes.

Second, processing the materials. The coarse goods must be washed in water. Then it must be reduced to powder. After sifting out the rough parts, the proper proportions are mixed together and put it into the calcining furnace, where they are kept in a moderate heat for 5 or 6 hours, being frequently stirred about during the process.

Third, forming the glass. The molten glass from the furnace is divided into two places with two purpose; making plate glass and making bottle glass. To make plate glass, the molten glass is flattened and cooled by rollers, and the result is thin plate glass. At the other place, to make bottle glass, the melted glass is flowed into the removable mould then blown by air. The glass is cooled, and the shell is removed, then the result is bottle glass.

Now we know the production of glass. Do you know how you were made by God?

Last Breath

Berkat mentoring kemaren bareng Teh Iis Dahlia, sy jadi inget kalo selama ini sy cuma mikirin masa depan yang belum tentu bakal ada. Hix9. Mumpung minggu ini gada tugas posting, ini ada lirik bagus dari lagunya Akhmed Bukhatir (walo gatau lagunya yang mana x_x). Silakan dibayangkan....

From those around I hear a Cry,
A muffled sob, a Hopeless sigh,
I hear their footsteps leaving slow,
And then I know my soul must Fly!

A chilly wind begins to blow,
within my soul, from Head to Toe,
And then, Last Breath escapes my lips,
It's Time to leave. And I must Go!

So, it is True (But it's too Late)
They said: Each soul has its Given Date,
When it must leave its body's core,
And meet with its Eternal Fate.

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows? Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !

Come on my brothers let's pray
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !

Oh God! Oh God! I cannot see !
My eyes are Blind! Am I still Me
Or has my soul been led astray,
And forced to pay a Priceless Fee

Alas to Dust we all return,
Some shall rejoice, while others burn,
If only I knew that before
The line grew short, and came my Turn!

And now, as beneath the sod
They lay me (with my record flawed),
They cry, not knowing I cry worse,
For, they go home, I face my God!

Oh mark the words that I do say,
Who knows, Tomorrow could be your Day,
At last, it comes to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, Do NOT delay !

Come on my brothers let's pray
Decide which now, do not delay ....

Our Intellectuality

We are a part of one percent of all Indonesian peoples who can study at university/institute. Most people say that we are so intelligent that studying at Bandung Institute of Technology, then they say we are the best students in Indonesia. Then we accept - their opinion that we are the smartest students in Indonesia - directly without a deep thought.

This makes us suppose that intelligence is very important to us. Supported by a sharp and keen intellect, we are so rational that our mind is our primary weapon in analyzing everything. We tend to approach things with logic. We use our intellectuality to win in academic competitions for our own prestige. We use our sharp intellect to create new technological tools but seldom have much to say about the possible future effects on our ecosystems and make many researches but we do not know whether the researches are giving advantage to individuals or society. We seem to be programmed to repeat our days and do a pretty job without improving our circumstances, without deepening our awareness, without paying attention to our realities and without seeking knowledge among the signs of nature.

We always use our superhuman brainpower but seldom try listening to our own heart - where as heart sees anything that logic could never see. Heart sees love, friendship, meanings of life, other person's needs and other hidden messages - but logic does not. Heart will find the reason of doing something and the answer of the meaning of life. Without awareness about what it means to be human, intellectuality is nothing!

My Choice, Community of ITB

I have some simple dreams: working in Indonesia, working for developing Indonesia and employing unemployed Indonesian. Then I was looking for a community which has the same desire to develop and rebuild our country, Indonesia. I was also looking for an advanced academic community which can provide science, technology and art which are needed by the society and industry; a creative entrepreneurial community which is formed by information and communication technology; a community which always evolve their member's capability, intellectuality and leadership; a community which consists of persons who are calling out the right and preventing from badness (amar makruf nahi mungkar) to each other. Now I find that community - not at other universities/institutes - not at another country - but only at the best institute of technology in Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The community of ITB, a community which I will never find at other places. That is the reason why I chose Bandung Institute of Technology to continue my study and the answer of my passion for realising the better Indonesia.

I Like Discussing

I like discussing especially with people who are courteous, kind-hearted, open-minded, honest, smart, critical, not dogmatic and not insisting. In many informal/formal discussions, they are treating others as equal as he/she treat him/her self, sharing good things each other and being constructive each other. It's interesting to talk and discuss anything (except fashion) with this kind of people because it seems like studying different thing by the different way. It always makes me know more about hidden facts and makes me more critical and more mature at analysing something than before. It also helps me open up my eyes to see any problems from the other side and the solution of the problem. Although sometimes discussion becomes a debate until the end of it, its utility forces me to discuss anything with anybody at mentoring, instant messaging, or when my friend and I take a lunch.
