Integrity, Grit and Independence

Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?

It is argued that wealthy nations be required to distribute their remaining wealth to poorer countries such as food and education, and there is opposing argument that the governments of poorer nations have responsibility to take care their citizens themselves. Responding these issues, I have an opinion that wealthy nations are not required to share their wealth, but they should share their knowledge, character and capabilities at a national level to poorer countries to overcome difficult and complicated situations, for example, trapped in an enormous debt with its large annual interests.

The most important thing which wealthy countries should do is to share the character such as integrity, grit and independence. So the character has a higher degree than knowledge which is common to be shared in education, as well as a well-known proverb: "knowledge is power, but the character is more". A great character will help poorer nations bring their citizens, and financial conditions meet the better terms. Japan had overcome their buried conditions after the bomb of World War II in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. After several decades, Japan has advanced technological capabilities among countries in Asia. At the other continent, Saudi Arabia has their own stories on how to change their foul character in the 7th century, and in the 14th century become the most civilised and cultured nation because of Islam.

It is considered that poor countries have a tendency to be a beggar, due to they are trapped by massive debt with significant annual interests which become larger and larger; and they don't have any financial ability even only to pay annual interest of the debt. There are two main points, in my opinion, which should be improved. First, wealthy nations are required not to take benefits of debt from poorer countries. Debt should be given with sincere intention to help poorer nations, not to make more profit, so the debt should be granted without interests. To handle inflation effect, the debt can be converted to an exchange instrument which has a stable value over the time such as gold. Second, poor nations should revolute their mentality to be more independent. They should believe that they are able to not too dependent on other countries - their citizens and natural resources are enough to fulfil their necessity, in-syaa Allah.

To conclude, I believe that wealthy nations are not required to share their wealth. They should share their character and capabilities to develop countries to poorer nations. It is better if they share their wealth with poorer nations with the right intention, without interests of debt, and it is just a bonus.
